"The Cursed Best Friend" is a story told by Angus Shackleton in "Scary Stories to Tell Your Cloud".
Plot[]
The story starts with an old Middlemost Post, with an old Parker J. Cloud look-alike: Shmarker. Angus explains that Shmarker, was best friend with a Burt look-alike: Shmurt. He explains that the 2 loved to Hi-5 each other everyday. One fine day, an epic Hi-5 went bad, that made Shmurt's hand fly away and eaten by many creatures, causing the duo to find a new hand for Shmurt, where they find a strong hand crawling out of a grave, and Shmarker decides to use it.
He then explains that at first life went to being normal, sort of. But, Shmurt is seen doing lots of bad stuff with in-story Russell and Shmarker with his hand. However, Shmarker's other best friend, Shmangus (an idealized version of Angus), noticed something a little off about Shmurt. He later argued with Shmarker about the problem, but he denies it. Soon, Shmurt started to catch the duo, and Shmarker noticed it, and Shmurt finally catches Shmarker, and real-life Parker asks real-life Angus what happened next, and Angus explains that Shmurt turned everyone to cardboard, scaring Parker and Russell.
