The crew of the Middlemost Post Wiki are users who are promoted with extra privileges, including bureaucrats, administrators, assistants, discussion moderators, rollbacks, Skype administrators, news team members, social media managers, and bots. The administration consists of the bureaucrats and administrators. There are currently 6 administrators, of whom 1 is a bureaucrat.
General information
Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, administrators can access a few additional functions. See the administrators' how-to guide for a guide on using admin functions. Some functions include: deleting and undeleting pages, page histories, and uploaded files, locking (protecting) a page so it can not be edited or renamed by users without admin rights, blocking IP addresses or user names from editing, being able to perform very quick "rollback" of undesirable edits, and editing the interface by changing system messages and skins, among others.
A bureaucrat can make other users into bureaucrats or administrators on their own wiki, but they cannot demote other bureaucrats.
Some Fandom staff members have full access to all of Fandom. They will be shown in Special:Listusers/staff on any wiki. Please see the Community Central contact page for details on how to contact Fandom staff.

How to be promoted
Due to the size of the community, sysop rights are requested and voted on here. The chance of one being granted adminship is based off how the editor acts on the wiki (specifically, but not limited to) their editing habits, how the editor acts on other wikis, and whether they are an admin on other wikis or not.
The following is a list of how one may be promoted at MPW:
- Bureaucrat - there are a number of requirements to become a bureaucrat. Those can be found here.
- Administrator - there are a number of requirements to become an administrator. See here for further information.
- Content Moderator - any user with at least 1,000 total edits and 500 main namespace edits can request to be an assistant here.
- Discussion moderator - any user with at least 500 discussions posts and 50 main namespace edits can request for discussion moderator here.
- Rollback - there are no requirements to become a rollback. Anyone can be promoted to rollback at the discretion of an administrator.
